And, you don't need to be medically licensed or certified to start working with seniors. Affinity Care is constantly looking for qualified staff to support the growing demand for senior care services. We provide interested candidates the opportunity to become a Certified Home Health Aide. These courses are licensed by the
NJ Board of Nursing and follow approved curriculum.
All graduates from our course receive a CHHA
certificate from the NJ Board of Nursing. We also welcome nursing and medical students to work as caregivers.
The Role of a Caregiver
It's often the little things in life that seniors miss and need the most. Affinity Care caregivers often become like a surrogate family member to help meet their client's needs. Companionship and human interaction are among one of the most important tasks our caregivers perform. Other tasks such as light housekeeping, cooking, laundry, transportation, shopping and errands, also enable seniors to remain at home.
